It’s was a pleasure to have our 2 hour workshop at ICA today. The students were able to fully build the mbot and start the first coding lesson. They successfully completed coding the control functions for the mbot, making it move forward, backward, right and left. We really saw students engage and have fun, which is always the best part for us. Coding really encourages attention to detail, looking over every line, making sure the correct block commands are in place, in order to have the robot function properly. Thanks again for having us and allowing us to equip and inspire the Next Gen to Dream Big.
✅ Build Robot
✅Program Robot Controls
✅Students having fun
We can’t wait to see what more amazing things they are going to do.
UPDATE: We were able to meet up with some of the students a month after class and we were so surprised to be met by one of the students showing us a robot they had created from spare parts they had around their maker space classroom. By using another kit they had, he made a robot car that had a gas pedal function. He told us how inspired he was from the workshop he wanted to try to create something on his own. We love hearing and seeing how the class opens up their minds to more possibilities. #theworldisyours
